The 1st European Summit for Critical Thinking Education
The 1st European Summit for Critical Thinking Education will take place in June the 3rd, 2019 at KU Leuven in Belgium. The summit is organized by the CRITHINKEDU – ‘Critical Thinking across the European Higher Education Curricula’ ERASMUS+ project in cooperation with the Foundation for Critical Thinking. The meeting will unite higher education researchers and educators, deans, student support agencies, policymakers, and employers eager to invest in critical thinking education. This one-day summit will present the main outputs of the CRITHINKEDU project and challenge participants to take a stance for the future of critical thinking in Higher Education in Europe. It will be a unique opportunity for people to gather and discuss critical thinking teaching and learning strategies, as well as other important related matters.

The 39th Annual International Conference on Critical Thinking
After the European Summit, the 39th Annual International Conference on Critical Thinking, organized by the Foundation for Critical Thinking in cooperation with the CRITHINKEDU project, will occur between June the 4th to the 7th, 2019 at KU Leuven in Belgium. For 38 years, the Foundation for Critical Thinking has been working toward the advancement of critical societies. The Foundation is a non-profit organization that seeks to promote essential change in education and society throughout human societies, by cultivating explicit, systematic, fair-minded critical thinking – thinking which embodies intellectual empathy, intellectual humility, intellectual perseverance, intellectual integrity and intellectual responsibility. The Annual International Conference on Critical Thinking is the longest running conference on critical thinking in the world.
