Our UTAD coordinators from Portugal have participated in the 6th National Congress of Pedagogical Practices in Higher Education (CNaPPES.19). The congress was hosted by the Polytechnic Institute of Santarém, Santarém, Portugal, last 11th and 12th of July 2017.
In the person of Gonçalo Cruz, Caroline Dominguez and Margarida de Carvalho, our team presented three works. The first of them concerning the CT bootcamp in Vila Real, entitled “Challenging students, teachers and business companies to think critically about the 21st century problem: the ‘CT Day’ at UTAD”. The second presentation was related to the CRITHINKEDU educational protocol, entitled “Implementing pedagogical practices that promote critical thinking in the European higher education curricula: the CRITHINKEDU protocol”. The last presentation was about a concrete educational intervention entitled “Using Guided Search and Jigsaw Techniques as Levers of Critical Thinking”.
You can see the full presentations in our slideshare at https://www.slideshare.net/crithinkedu (only available in Portuguese).
